| Description: | Position location: 3600 W Parmer Ln, Austin TX Under general supervision develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and management positions throughout the Credit Union. Supports Credit Union management with jobs structures, salaries and compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Will be first contact with potential candidates and will make recommendations to hiring manager regarding applicants. |
| Duties: | The HR Specialist position will focus on jobs from recruiting through the selection process, orientation and follow up with individuals for the first 60 days of employment. The HRS will assist the VP of Human Resources with job descriptions and job analysis and market research related to jobs, wages and benefits. The position supports the Human Resources function in all other aspects as requested including processing of automated payroll. |
| Qualifications: | Degree in HR preferred but will consider HR experience and other education. Minimum of one year experience in HR where focus was hiring and selection. Skills in interviewing techniques and good knowledge of employment laws. |
